ShoeHype was born on the Island of Gotland in Sweden during the summer of 2020. People sweat from their feet and have done so at all times, but why does it really start to smell bad from your feet & shoes? The scientific explanation is simple as sweat mixes with dead skin cells, bacteria and fungal spores. This mixture germinates and sooner or later it starts to smell bad. The smell manifests itself differently from person to person but in the end this is a problem for each individual. Shoes used in physical activity normally smell worse and this is of course due to the fact that a larger amount of sweat is mixed with more skin cells.

ShoeHype leaves no residual products other than oxygen & water. It is 100% degradable by nature and you can in good conscience treat your shoes without affecting the environment in a negative way.
